Hand crafted Traditional Irish Banjos and other fretted instruments. Tom Cussen of Clareen Banjos banjo player in Shaskeen since the mid 1970’s and he creates suitable instruments for any banjo enthusiast.

Hand crafted with great care and 100% Irish material whenever possible, you can find banjos for beginners, like their basic “Bridge” banjo, which can be tweaked or altered according to preferences, or move up to professional levels with the Special Tenor editions, Oyster banjos, Elite banjos, or the ultimate Setanta hand engraved banjos in either gold or nickel.

Each instrument can be fitted according to preferences, and Clareen Banjos also provide full repair and restoration services for most fretted instruments. Alongside banjos, the company offers an expanded guitar stock that includes Gallagher, Stanford, Seagull, Simon & Patrick and many more guitars which you are welcome to .
